  • Tot Spot is an indoor play space located inside the James Street Mennonite Church in Lancaster City. Tot Spot is a cooperative. This means that members help with set up, break down, and other activities that make Tot Spot a vibrant, fun play space and community.

Tot Spot operates on a pay-what-you-can and do-what-you-can model. This allows families to contribute at the financial level that aligns with the value they place on their co-op membership as well as their budget. We are committed to making Tot Spot financially accessible to all and financial assistance is available.

Our mission is to create an inclusive community space for Lancaster’s young families to meet, play, and connect.

The Tot Spot season runs from the first week of October to the last week of March. The colder months can be hard on our little ones so we understand the need for a warm space to let kiddos run and play. Tot Spot is open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10am to 12pm.

Tot Spot aims to provide a diverse range of opportunities to the tots who visit the play space during any given season. There are a variety of rotating toys and play areas within the weekly set up that give tots space to exercise both fine and gross motor skills as well as imaginative play.
